The PCS MEGA series energy storage solar inverters employ advanced digital control technology, optimizing control performance and improving system reliability. This series of inverters is specifically designed to meet various battery charging and discharging requirements, and its main performance characteristics are as follows:
• Compatibility with multiple battery types, including lead-acid, and lithium-ion batteries. The integrated BMS supports communication protocols such as RS485, CAN, and Ethernet.
• Capable of accepting EMS dispatch commands via RS485, CAN, and Ethernet communication interfaces.
• Features five operational modes: manual control, peak shaving and valley filling, backup power supply, grid steady-state support, and grid transient support.
• Supports AC parallel operation, with a maximum capacity of up to four units in parallel.
• Equipped with off-grid standalone inverter functionality, enabling the establishment of a microgrid system to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical loads.
• Delivers robust off-grid performance, effectively handling three-phase unbalanced loads.
• Adopts a power frequency design, providing superior impact resistance.
• Implements a dual-auxiliary power supply architecture with redundant design, significantly enhancing system reliability.
• Utilizes an independent airflow design for optimal thermal management.

Basic Functions
Grid-connected Operation
The inverter is directly connected to the power grid, enabling bidirectional energy flow: it can feed energy from the batteries to the grid or draw energy from the grid to charge the batteries.
Off-grid Inversion
In the absence of a grid connection, the energy storage inverter can operate independently, supplying power to connected loads.
Grid-connected / Off-grid Switching
This function is exclusive to models supporting seamless grid-connected/off-grid transition. In grid-connected mode, the inverter can switch directly between charging and discharging states without entering standby mode. When the grid is unavailable, the inverter operates autonomously in off-grid mode.
Energy Storage Battery Charging and Discharging Control
All models in the PCS series support charging and discharging operations in grid-connected mode. Users can configure the charge/discharge depth according to their requirements.
Redundant Parallel Connection
For large-scale applications, multiple inverters can be configured in a redundant parallel setup to enhance system redundancy, capacity, and overall reliability.
